If you would like to receive a charitable tax receipt for your contribution, please email info@opirgbrock.com for the follow up details.

Payment methods

To donate to OPIRG Brock or one of our Action Groups or coalitions, send e-transfers to:

Please include in the message line “[Your Name] OPIRG Brock donation” or the name of the Action Group you are donating to. 

Please email opirgbrockbookkeeper@gmail.com to confirm once sent.

Please only make any cheques out to: OPIRG Brock or Ontario Public Interest Research Group – Brock Chapter​

For an Action Group donation, please write “Donation to [ACTION GROUP]” in the memo line.

​For follow up details on where to mail the cheque or drop it off, please email info@opirgbrock.com or call/message 365-855-2768. 

If you have an in-kind or cash donation, please drop it off to our donation jar at a community event or email info@opirgbrock.com, to coordinate drop-off.

We are currently in the process of setting up an OPIRG Brock Zeffy account, that would allow payments through a credit card or using Stripe. 

In the interim, if you want to contribute to OPIRG Brock using Zeffy, please click this link to go to the OPIRG Provincial Zeffy account, and follow these steps: 

  1. Go to www.zeffy.com/en-CA/donation-form/donate-to-an-ontario-pirg-chapter
  2. Enter in the amount you would like to contribute, then click ‘Continue’
  3. On the check out page, please select ‘Brock (Niagara)’ when answering the question “Which OPIRG chapter would you like to donate to?

In addition to sending funds to OPIRG Brock, you can also donate or sponsor the Action Groups and coalitions we work with!

​Currently Action Groups & Coalitions: 

​In order to do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Decide which payment method you would like to use, and go to that tab in this this menu – E-transfer, Cheque, Cash, Zeffy
  2. Follow the same instructions in the applicable tab on this page (e.g. write cheques to OPIRG Brock or e-transfer opirgbrockbookkeeper@gmail.com)
  3. Please include the name of the Action Group or coalition in the memo line or comment box.
  4. If you require a charitable tax receipt, please email info@opirgbrock.com. 

​Sustainer contribution to an Action Group or coalition

  • If you want to set up a monthly $10 donation to an Action Group or coalition, please go to the OPIRG Brock Patreon, and select the $20 or $30 tier
  • Once you have registered for Patreon, you will receive a follow up email about which Action Group or coalition you would like $10/month to go to.

** In the case of the Willow Arts Community, you can also contribute to their directly on their website: thewillowcommunity.com/donate.

Easy ways to donate:

  • Participate in the ‘Buy a Day’ campaign happening throughout December!
  • If you see the OPIRG table at a community event, please put any extra change to our donation jar!
  • Pass a donation jar around at your community & family events w/ proceeds going to OPIRG Brock!
  • If you are a business – have a certain item or do a monthly special where a portion goes to OPIRG Brock​
  • Add on a $10 donation when you sign up for your OPIRG Brock member or participate in the ‘Buy a Day’ campaign!

Raffle Tickets

Raffles have been amazing supports from local businesses, artists, and vendors – and buy raffle tickets means you could win too!

Upcoming raffles

  • December 1-31 – Double your donation through the Buy A Day campaign, throughout  December 2025, and you will receive the same amount of raffle tickets! Example – If you select December 10, but donate $20, you will receive 20 raffle tickets! 
  • December 14 – Yule Faire at Market Square in St. Catharines

Sponsor a community project

​Sponsoring a project is a great way to use funds to help something specific continue to grow and thrive here is Niagara! Sponsorships can look like a 1-time or annual donation to a project, providing micro-grants or community funds/ bursaries, or providing in-kind services.

We are currently looking for one-time and regular sponsors for the following projects:

  • Niagara Free Store
  • Anti-Racism Sponsorship Fund
  • Campus garden plots
  • Harm Reduction & Naloxone at Brock program
  • Volunteer & placement student program
  • DisOrientation Guide to Niagara V. 3
  • Abortion & Reproductive Support Network
  • May Day events
  • Willow Arts Community programming
  • Trans Day of Visibility and Trans Day of Remembrance events
  • International Overdose Awareness Day
  • Establishing an in-person office and community gathering space
